Getting Started
Do I need technical knowledge to use EZ Rent?+
No. EZ Rent is designed for property owners, not developers. If you can use a smartphone, you can use EZ Rent. An onboarding walkthrough guides you through your first property setup.
How do I get started?+
Register for a free Starter account at app.panorata.com. Add your first property, create units, and start managing tenants or bookings. The whole setup takes under 15 minutes.
Can I import my existing data?+
Currently, data needs to be entered manually. Bulk import tools are on the product roadmap and will be available in a future update.
Properties & Rentals
Can I manage both long-term rentals and Airbnb-style stays?+
Yes. EZ Rent supports long-term leases, short-term bookings, and hybrid units that can handle both. You can set the rental mode per unit.
Can I track property sales and instalment plans?+
Yes. The Sales module is designed for the Zimbabwean market where deposit-and-instalment property sales are common. You can track full payments, phased deposits, and monthly instalments with optional interest.
What happens when a tenant leaves?+
You can mark the lease as terminated, update the unit status to vacant, and the unit becomes available for a new tenant or booking. All historical data is preserved.
Payments & Billing
How do I record rent payments?+
Go to Finance → Payments → Record Payment. Select the tenant and lease, enter the amount received (cash, EcoCash, or bank transfer), and the balance updates automatically.
Does EZ Rent support USD and ZWL?+
USD is the primary currency in V1. ZWL support is planned for an upcoming release.
How is my EZ Rent subscription paid?+
Subscriptions are paid monthly via PayNow, EcoCash, or bank transfer. No international card required.
Security & Data
Where is my data stored?+
All data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security, meaning your data is completely isolated from other users.
Can I delete my account and data?+
Yes. You can delete your account from Settings → Account at any time. All associated data is permanently removed.
Can my team members see all my data?+
You control exactly what each team member can see and do. Permissions can be set per person from the Settings → Team page.
